[34]  The classic cocktail manual, Harry Craddock’s The Savoy Cocktail Book 1930 (Constable & Co., London) lists the following recipes for five cocktails, all shaken well and strained into a cocktail glass: (a) Silver Cocktail (marashino, orange bitters, French vermouth, dry gin); (b) Silver Bullet Cocktail (gin, lemon juice, kummel); (c) Silver King Cocktail (Plymouth gin, sugar, orange bitters, lemon juice, egg white); (d) Silver Stallion Cocktail (vanilla icecream, gin, silver fizz); (e) Silver Streak Cocktail (dry gin, kummel).
