Abstract
The new naphthopyrone, pigmentosin A 1, has been isolated from the lichen Hypotrachyna immaculata and its structure elucidated using multidimensional NMR spectroscopic methods, including high-field (600 MHz) gHMBC and gHMQC experiments. This compound is the first lichen metabolite known to contain a bisnaphthopyrone moiety in its structure.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH04003
