Abstract
The new depsidone subvirensic acid (4-formyl-3,8-dihydroxy-1,6-dimethyl-11-oxo-11H-dibenzo[b,e][1,4]di-oxepin-7-carboxylic acid) (7) has been isolated from the lichen Flavoparmelia haysomii and the structure deduced from a combination of spectroscopic data.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH02064
