Abstract
The induction phenomena of photosynthesis at different stages during the greening of dark-grown wheat and bean leaves have been studied. When etiolated wheat leaves first acquire photosynthetic activity, the characteristic time course of oxygen evolution consists of a distinct lag phase followed by a slow rise to the steady state.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9730277
