Abstract
The effects that specific amounts of cold stress had on the development of the tropical legume L. bainesii were assessed for plants of four ages grown in a nitrogendeficient soil. They were dependent primarily upon symbiotically fixed nitrogen, when receiving phosphorus at five treatment levels. The plants received normal lighting and a 12-hr day length under controlled environment, and the cold stress was gradually increased from nil to frosting.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9730087
