Abstract
The advent of a satisfactory method for semen collection (Burrows and Quinn 1937) has enabled artificial insemination to become of increasing economic importance to the poultry industry. It is now widely employed for improving fertility in turkey flocks and, to a lesser extent, in chicken flocks.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9700717
