Abstract
A virus isolated from fish weed (0. trigonon Roem. & Schult.) in Queensland has been shown to produce symptoms, have a host range, and have physical properties similar to those of sowbane mosaic virus (SMV). Further, the virus reacted specifically with an antiserum produced against a known strain of SMV. This appears to be the first report of the natural occurrence of SMV in Australia.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9680649
