Abstract
A method is described for the purification of Centrosema mosaic virus from lea.ves of Crotalaria unagyroides H.B.K. Partially purified preparations contained elongated flexuous rods. measuring approxima.tely 580 by 12 lllM. which were regularly associated with infectivity. These preparations had an ultraviolet absorption spectrum characteristic of a nucleoprotein and showed only a single homogeneous peak when examined in the analytical ultracentrifuge. The identity of the virus is discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9630468
