Abstract
The storage of protein in the tissues of Merino sheep has been investigated, and the quantitative distribution of these stores delineated by complementary methods. Muscle and liver are evinced as the main storage tissues, with the protein of the pancreas, heart, and spleen also labile to a considerable extent. Kidney and lung protein is well preserved under the stress of chronic dietary deprivation.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9630192
