Studies in Anaphylaxis V. The Antigenic Complexity of, and Cross-Reactions Between, Armour Bovine Plasma Albumin Fraction V and Armour Bovine Gamma-Globulin Fraction II

Abstract

Evidence is presented showing that Armour bovine plasma albumin fraction V and Armour bovine gamma-globulin fraction II are complex antigens which crossreact in anaphylactic induction. The effects of this complexity on quantitative studies of anaphylaxis are discussed. The consequences of the death cut-off point in shocking dose response are also discussed.
