Consequences of Truncation Selection Based on Combinations of Individual Performance and General Combining Ability

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine in detail the immediate and longterm oonsequenoes of nine oombinations of trunoation seleotion. These oombinations result from applying one of the following oonditions to eaoh sex: (i) no seleotion, (ii) individual seleotion, and (iii) general oombining ability seleotion.
