Abstract
When a tracer quantity of L- or DL.[35S]cystine was mixed with sheep blood plasma about two-thirds of the radioactivity was bound to the proteins after 4 hr at 39°C, probably as half. cystine residues in disulphide linkage. The reversibility of the binding was demonstrated.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9610427
