Abstract
The Australian Trechinae are distributed between the tribes Trechodini, Perileptini, and Trechini. Homaioderini, hitherto regarded as the dominant tribe of the fauna, are now reunited with the Trechini. Ten genera, 43 species, three subspecies, and one variety are described as new and keys are provided to cover all taxa dealt with in the revision. Three of the new species (from Tasmania) are troglobitic and are the first truly cave-adapted Trechini to be reported from the region. Aspects of zoogeography and phylogeny are discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/AJZS018
