Abstract
The Australian ant-lion Callistoleon illustris (Gerstaecker), constructs a unique pitfall trap with trenches radiating from the pit. This development, hitherto unrecorded, is documented and discussed and the larva is described and illustrated.https://doi.org/10.1071/ZO9880351
