The Tipulidae (Diptera) of Australia II The genus Clytocosmus Skuse

Abstract

The six species of the endemic Australian genus Clytocosmus (including C. alexanderi, sp. nov.) are described and figured and keys to males and females are provided. An account is given of their biology and distribution. The egg and larval stages of C. edwardsi Alex. are described and the pupa of C. helmsi Skuse is figured.
