Abstract

Strongyloides thylacis, sp. nov, is described from the bandicoot Thylacis obesulus (Shaw). It exhibited a regular alternation of generations, similar to that which occurs in many species of the genus. Parastrongyloides trichosuri, sp. nov, is described from the brush-tailed possum Trichosurus vulpecula (Kerr). It also exhibited a regular alternation of generations. Parastrongyloides peramelis, sp, nov. is described from the bandicoots Thylacis obesulus and Perameles nasuta Geoffroy. It exhibited an alternation of generations, but homogonic development sometimes occurred as well.
