Australian Ampulicidae (Hymenoptera: Sphecoidea)

Abstract

The paper deals with the systematics of the Australian representatives of this small family of predatory wasps. Four new species of Aphelotoma are described and a new genus, Austrotoma, erected for Aphelotoma aterrima Turner. A single species only of Dolichurus is recorded. Ten Australian species and one subspecies are recognized in the paper.
