Abstract

Forty-eight genera of Australian Scelioninae are recognized, of which the following are described as new: Crama, Genatropis, Lispoteleia, Neoparidris and Yunkara. Fusicornia Risbec and Ladora Masner & Huggert are recorded from Australia for the first time, and Anteris Foerster, Apegus Foerster and Oxyteleia Kieffer are no longer considered to occur in Australia. Platyteleia Dodd and Austroscelio Dodd are regarded as synonyms of Gryon Haliday. A key to genera is presented and a checklist of species and references to original descriptions are provided. Wing reduction in the subfamily is discussed. Twenty-two species are redescribed and 11 new species described.
