Revision of the subgenus Calloesma Michener (Apoidea : Colletidae)

Abstract
The subgenus Callohesma Michener, 1965, of the genus Euryglossa Smith, 1853, is revised. Thirty-four species are recognized including 20 which are described as new: E. (C.) eustonensis, E. (C.) karratha, E. (C.) chlora, E. (C.) megachlora, E. (C.) matthewsi, E. (C.) splendens, E. (C.) coolgardensis, E. (C.) nigripicta, E. (C.) tuberculata, E. (C.) rieki, E. (C.) setula, E. (C.) skermani, E. (C.) albiceris, E. (C.) queenslandensis, E. (C.) pedalis, E. (C.) townsvillensis, E. (C.) occidentalis, E. (C.) lucida, E. (C.) flava and E. (C.) recta.Most species have been redescribed.
The following are considered to be synonyms: E. carnosa Cockerell, E. sinapina Cockerell and E. melanothorax Rayment of E. sinapipes Cockerell; E. cambournii Rayment of E. aurantifera Cockerell; E. tridentijrons Cockerell, E. strigosa Rayment and E. raffae Rayment of E. fivopicta Smith.
