Abstract
Aluminium Elliott traps are widely used in mammal studies in Australia. They are acknowledged to be effective on many species of small mammals, but the lack of a locking mechanism to prevent escape is an apparent limitation. This paper describes a modification to the trap to improve animal retention.https://doi.org/10.1071/WR9960119
