Abstract
The movements of ducks to refuges in response to hunting pressure were investigated during the opening of the 1981 duck season. Grey teal, Pacific black duck, hardhead and Australasian shoveler actively sought refuge whilst pink-eared duck did not. Some implications for management are discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/WR9820527
