Capture of Kangaroos by 'stunning'

Abstract

We describe a technique for catching kangaroos, in which they were 'stunned' before capture by a combination of light and sound. This method has the advantages over other techniques of allowing selective capture and reducing rates of post-capture myopathy and accidental death.
