Abstract
From the commencement of the scheme in October 1953 to June 30, 1955, 6073 birds of 49 species were banded and 85 recoveries, involving 77 individuals of 15 species, were reported. The full data for 19 recoveries are given. The recoveries of 7 young giant-petrels, Macronectes giganteus (Gmelin), from Heard Island and Macquarie Island are widely scattered round the southern hemisphere.https://doi.org/10.1071/CWR9560031
