Runoff as a factor influencing experimentally determined interrill erodibilities

Abstract

In most modern models of interrill erosion, the effect of surface-water flow on interrill erosion is ignored. On the basis of an interrill erosion model developed from a theory on sediment transport by rain-impacted flow, it is shown that failure to consider the hydrology of interrill areas may lead to errors in the determination of interrill erodibilities.
