Abstract
Sulfide interferes with the determination of carbonate/bicarbonate in soil solutions by pH-titration methods. Its effect, and that of other weakly acidic but oxidizable anions, can be detected and eliminated by prior treatment of the solution with hydrogen peroxide.Keywords: Bicarbonate; Sulfide; Analysis; Soil Solutions;
