A simple technique for collecting large soil profiles for display

Abstract

A flexible peel technique is described which has been used on many soil types to produce display profiles as large as 2x3 m. The technique uses inexpensive latex emulsion and muslin, requires no special expertise or equipment and the peels have an effective lifetime of more than 10 years.
