Abstract
Changes in concentration of chloride and sodium have been used to estimate the volume of water stored in an 84 km length of the River Murray. A value of 44 x 106 m3 was obtained, compared with a value of 59 x 106 m3 obtained by survey. Sources of error in our estimates are discussed as are possible explanations for the differences between the two values.https://doi.org/10.1071/SR9800191
