Abstract
Translocation of clay did not play a significant role in the development of the Urrbrae loam, a typical red-brown earth. This is shown by the manner of variation with depth of several features of the profile. Both A and B horizons apparently originated as distinct sedimentary deposits containing clay, any additional clay being formed in position.https://doi.org/10.1071/SR9740097
