The measurement of the diffusion of oxygen in saturated porous media

Abstract

Methods of measurement of oxygen diffusion in saturated porous media are examined and established results of the analysis of ground water flow are applied to the 'bare platinum microelectrode technique'. Some physical consequences of the analysis when applied to simple biological situations are discussed.
