Abstract
Results of particle-size and chemical analyses of a sample of the Hanwood sandy loam, a red-brown earth, indicate that the parent sediments consisted of at least four, probably five, depositional layers. These layers correspond only in part to those detected by other methods. Some important properties of the soil show no evidence for a layer that is clearly indicated by abrupt changes in the magnitude or the trend of other properties.https://doi.org/10.1071/SR9660019
