Abstract
A new species, Glycine pindanica, is described from the western side of Dampier Peninsula, Western Australia. Its distribution is mapped. A key is provided to the species of Glycine in north-western Australia. G. pindanica and the closely allied G. hirticaulis Tindale & Craven form a small group of non-rhizomatous, non-stoloniferous species with digitately trifoliate leaves, linear leaflets and hairs having persistent, slightly enlarged bases. Opportunist amphicarpy occurs in both species. An illustration of G. pindanica is provided.https://doi.org/10.1071/SB9930371
