The taxonomic postition of the Australian endemic Durringtonia (Rubiacese)

Abstract

Evidence is presented that the monotypic Australian genus Durringtonia R. Henderson & Guymer should be placed in the Rubiaceae tribe Anthospermeae subtribe Cosrosminar rather than in a tribe of its own. The relationship if Durringtonia to other members of the Anthospermeae are discussed.
