Abstract
37 species of Pimelea are described. This represents the total occurrence in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. 17 new combinations are made and the following are described as new: P. venosa Threlfall, P. neo-anglica Threlfall, P. ligustrina Labill. ssp. ciliata Threlfall, P. linifolia Sm. ssp. caesia Threlfall, P. octophylla R.Br. ssp. ciliolaris Threlfall, P. octophylla R.Br. ssp. subvillifera Threlfall, P. latifolia R.Br. ssp. elliptifolia Threlfall, and the following new varieties of P. curviflora R.Br. ssp. gracilis (R.Br.) Threlfall, stat. nov.?var. divergent Threlfall, var. subglabrata Threlfall, and var. acuta Threlfall. Subsection Choristachys (Endl.) Meissn. of Section Calyptrostegia (Meyer) Benth. has been raised to sectional status. Distributional maps and keys to species and infraspecific taxa are provided.
