Abstract
Gravitational effects cause the visual appearance of the external universe to be distorted to observers near a Kerr–Newman black hole. This paper introduces the problem and presents some computer-generated pictures which show how the 'sky' appears to an observer near a Kerr black hole.https://doi.org/10.1071/PH960623
