Abstract
Possible trajectories of cosmic ray particles in our galactic magnetic field have been followed for various field models. It is found to be difficult to reconcile the observed low levels of cosmic ray anisotropy above 1018 eV with the modelled propagation. This strongly suggests a dominant extragalactic cosmic ray source at such high energies.https://doi.org/10.1071/PH900373
