Abstract
In this paper a study is made of the combined effect of rotation and magnetic field on the convective transfer in a horizontal Boussinesq layer of fluid heated from below, in the case when the convection celIs have a hexagonal planform. The numerical integrations of the basic equations have been carried out to high values of the Rayleigh number, and two families of solutions have been discovered.
