Inelastic Scattering of Neutrons. I. Quasi-Compound Nucleus Theory

Abstract

The Feynman propagator formalism is used to derive a theory for the inelastio soattering of neutrons, in whioh the soattering amplitude oontains direct and compound nucleus-like parts. The relation between this and the Feynman-diagram method of Shapiro is established.
