Abstract
There were 90,610 births to 89,140 women reported in 2005 (Table 1). This represents a 5.8 per cent increase in births compared to 2004. The number of twin pregnancies rose slightly compared to 2004, while the number of triplet pregnancies has remained fairly stable since 2001.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB07S06
