Abstract
At 10.27 am on December 28, 1989, Newcastle was hit by an earthquake measuring 5.6 on the open-ended Richter scale Twelve people were killed by collapsed buildings and 105 people presented to Hunter Hospitals with symptoms directly attributable to the earthquake.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB92039
