Abstract
The major sources of environmental lead in Australia are lead processing facilities, paint in older houses and fuel additives. Epidemiologic research has identified adverse effects of lead poisoning on the intellectual development of young children at levels previously regarded as safe.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB91044
