Abstract
Notable features of communicable disease reports received by the NSW Department of Health through to September (Figure1, Table 2) include: the continuing pertussis epidemic that seems to be primarily affecting older children and adults and rural dwellers; the number of cases of meningococcal disease peaked in August (31 cases), with cases predominant among small children and young adults.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB01103
