Abstract
This article reviews the current literature regarding HBV epidemiology, locally and internationally, and outlines current vaccination policies and immunisation procedures. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that about two billion people have been infected with the hepatitis B virus (HBV) worldwide, and about 350 million of them are chronic carriers.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB00093
