Abstract
Observations are recorded on the seasonal occurrence, numbers, and status of 24 species of waders, including 13 Palaearctic migrants, at Tinaroo Dam near Atherton, North Queensland, during 1958-64. The receding shoreline, created by the release of water for irrigation and hydro-electric power during the spring and summer months, provides an environment that appears to be increasingly attractive to waders on the dam and its vicinity.https://doi.org/10.1071/MU964061
