Abstract

Our small but active local association (ICA ACT Inc.), together with the Australian Society for Microbiology (ACT branch), The Canberra Hospital (TCH) and the ACT Department of Health Communicable Diseases Section, is busy planning another public health seminar for early August. The topic for discussion will be pertussis. Dr Ashley Watson (ID physician and a member of our association), is the coordinator once again and I am certain that the program will be as successful as the inaugural seminar.
