Abstract
Hepatitis Delta virus (HDV) is a small RNA virus (1.7kb) which only infects individuals with coexisting hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. The HDV particle consists of an outer envelope of HBV origin and inner ribonucleoprotein complex made of a circular single-stranded RNA genome and Two HDV encoded delta antigens (HDAg).https://doi.org/10.1071/HI95332
