Abstract
Legionnaire's disease is a bacterial disease caused by opportunistic microorganisms of the Legionella sp. Surveillance of Legionnaire's disease, coordinated in Europe by the European Working Group for Legionella Infection (EWGLI) is focused on the early notification of outbreaks, including those that are travel-associated. European surveillance puts pressure on providers of accommodation and spa services to pay attention to legionellosis prevention before the outbreak actually occurs. Blacklisting of such a facility may lead to the lost of reputation and subsequent loss of clients.https://doi.org/10.1071/HI06140
