Abstract

The last couple of months have seen the ACT infection control manual grow from a planned idea into something substantial. This manual has been in production for some time and was created as a collaborative effort between the public and private hospitals of the ACT and the ACT Department of Health and Community Care. This collaboration has allowed the manual to adopt an ACT wide approach to infection control rather than just being hospital based like those produced in the past.
