Use of vocational education and training to increase the capacity of industry to improve nutritional health

Abstract

Issue addressed: This paper describes an approach used to promote improvements to nutrition and food safety in long day care in Western Australia, which included training for cooks and co-ordinators, an award scheme and changes to regulations.
