A Review of the Chenopodiaceae in Papuasia

Abstract

A critical enumeration is given and keys to the relevant three genera and five species, together with two more genera known from adjacent areas, are provided. Synonyms and misapplied names relevant to the region are given. Notes are made on the distribution and ecology of the species. It is shown that Solicornia L. and Suaeda Scop. have been recorded incorrectly for the region. All specimens examined for this study are listed.
