Abstract

Mohan et al. state "As the functional representation of the vertical magnetic effect of a sphere has rational power in the denominator, which defies Fourier transformation . . .", and further, that "It is apparent that it is not possible to find the Fourier transform of V(x) (eqn 1)". They then proceed to find the Fourier transform of {V(x)}2.
